We are a Family owned small business located in West Jordan, Utah.  We are of Polynesian descent with roots in the tiny isles of Tonga and Samoa.  The business was created in 2004 as Tupea’s Imports as a dream of my mother and father in-law.  Eventually there existed a desire for them to not only sell Polynesian grocery items and crafts but also sell hot food or plate lunches and dinner.  Ultimately there was two name changes:  We became Tupea’s Polynesian Market and subsequently Little Polynesian Market and Food.  My In-laws would be called to serve a mission for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Knoxville, Tennessee in 2018.

Fast forward to 2024:  I have decided to create this website to continue their legacy and provide high quality products that many locals in Utah have come to love.  I hope you will decide to support us as a family-owned small business.  I am grateful for the opportunity to live in this great country and am doing my best in the pursuit of my American dream.  Although born and raised in Salt Lake City, Utah my parents Kalanite & Taiana Brown were immigrants from the Kingdom of Tonga arriving in Hawaii in the early 1970’s and settling in Utah where they raised me and my thirteen siblings.
